Battery Monitor 2 for LiFePO4 batteries
Battery monitoring with your smartphone or tablet
With the Battery Monitor 2 and the associated free Apple or Android app, you are able to quickly and easily control the charge status of your battery. Only with a stable, positive state of charge of the battery, the full capacity and usability is guaranteed. The positive state of charge also prevents possible early damage or failure of the battery.
Due to the continuous recording, the charge status of the battery is recorded during the operating time and can also be recalled later. The file containing the data can be sent by email from the smartphone and displayed in Excel. So you can quickly see where the charging voltage has broken in or was too high. In addition, a defective controller can be recognized quickly.
In addition, the new app can also be used to check boot procedures (starters, cable connections, etc.) and charging processes (alternator, cables, etc.). This saves long troubleshooting in case of problems. Low battery or other issues may alert the user depending on the setting in the app options.
After simply attaching to the battery using eyelets and downloading the new Android or Apple app, the current voltage value can be retrieved.
The transmitter is suitable for 6 V and 12 V batteries. The range is about 10 meters. The connection is via Bluetooth. (Only from Bluetooth 4.0, for example from iPhone 4s, iPad3 or iPod Touch 5)
Please note: The new Battery Monitor 2 also requires the new App BatteryMonitor 2!
If the voltage falls below the minimum voltage, it is pointed out that the battery will soon be recharged.
